- 01:37 icupspeedruns: yea it was, definitely the most jet S3 seed I've encountered
- 01:37 psych: 2 bosses but everything with any modicum of complexity is just served up as WOTH
- 01:38 psych: i could easily see some of the top players getting like low 1:teens on this
- 01:38 psych: i had some execution flubs and a couple poor GB routing choices that could have been a sub 80 for me which is crazy cuz that was my first sub 90 lol

- 01:39 icupspeedruns: The 2 boss hints immediately scared me in the first half but the rest of the hints completely broke the seed

- 01:40 icupspeedruns: yeah I also had some execution and routing mistakes but that's what you have to expect from Donk tournament runs lol
- 01:41 icupspeedruns: The nerves were hitting me at the end since it was so jet
- 01:42 psych: ironically my helm and krool were really clean despite definitely feeling nervous, meanwhile early on i was just dropping routine stuff for no reason lol
- 01:43 psych: yeah some of the slop is par for the course for sure, just interesting to realize what could have been
- 01:44 icupspeedruns: I always spend too much time in the early levels, it's one of the biggest things I need to work on for S4
- 01:44 NintendoSara: still both of you got PB and sub 90
- 01:45 icupspeedruns: Most checks just straight up aren't worth it just for GBs
- 01:45 icupspeedruns: yeah I'm still proud of myself for the sub 90. If there is a way to go out, this is it
- 01:46 psych: yeah i've been trying to teach that out of myself too, was thinking about it in caves specifically this seed how much to farm GBs there vs just move on

- 01:47 icupspeedruns: I climbed all the way to the top of Castle on my first visit, probably a mistake in hindsight but I had a lot of GBs early on
- 01:47 psych: yeah i was able to do top down castle with rocket
- 01:48 psych: although the WOTH on that kasplat by w2 had me sweating for quite some time, lucky to not get punished by that but only did underground first time around
