- 18:22 LarviStar37: It's mostly to aid me in laying out a map of the surroundings as I explore, I don't have resources to manually draw myself one as I play and thus would otherwise resort to attempt memorizing what I discover.
- 18:23 Stags28: there's a tracker that I use that definitely takes a little time to get comfortable with, but i don't have the mental capacity to draw and play at the same time.
- 18:24 Stags28: but i'm also not one of the "elites" here, so take it with a grain of salt. :)

- 18:25 LarviStar37: No problem, mostly got interested in playing DWR thanks to NEScardinality and all the 10+ player races he often plays

- 21:24 Stags28: I did pretty well running from reds on my dive. I went on 17 but got to dl2 w full stats

- 21:25 LarviStar37: I had one attempt at running into Charlock get killed by failing to run from one so many times that after 3 Healmores I still couldn't run
- 21:25 Stags28: Ouch
- 21:26 Stags28: What "build" did you use?
- 21:26 LarviStar37: That seed was too painful, 35 deaths, 300 attacks, 2:50:04 playtime. Kind of want to cry now that the pain is done.
- 21:26 LarviStar37: Named myself "Z" as I noticed in anything NEScardinality does with DW1R
- 21:26 Stags28: Or rejoice in triumph for conquering it!!
- 21:27 Stags28: Z is a pretty standard start, which was very helpful for this one (and most, frankly)
- 21:27 LarviStar37: None of those levelups from 16-19 were giving any meaningful stats to help me out
- 21:27 Stags28: 17 pushed me over the 14 healmore hurdle
- 21:28 Stags28: But 16 was brutal
- 21:28 Stags28: Ggs, though!
- 21:29 Stags28: I hope you had fun!
- 21:30 LarviStar37: I don't think any part of the seed was fun, sadly. It all started with being stuck in teh starting area for over half an hour trying to level or find a town with gear I could buy

- 21:32 Stags28: Ah. I got 2 drakees somewhat quickly and was up to level 4 around the 5 or 5:30 mark.
- 21:33 LarviStar37: Took 22 minutes for me to get to level 5 and get both those Hurt spells to hurl me forware
- 21:34 Stags28: Well, hopefully the next one goes better for you. Some of the guys run sequenced beginner flags to ramp up a bit.
