- 03:19 antidale: also, I'd like to register a complaint that every single time I've played this (or the other two variants), the 1st floor right box in lower babil has a monster. c'mon game, let me have this one thing

- 03:20 antidale: I didn't try go get much money, but all the opening of stuff to try and find darkness really did a number

- 03:24 PlumeriaKnight: For a second I was very concerned about Waterhag when he didn't go through the script. Then I remembered I had a moonveil so Rydia was safe, and Kain's glass hat meant he was safe, too.

- 03:24 PlumeriaKnight: Luckily KSummon is off

- 03:24 antidale: I even said "nothing here" when I first went to feymarch, and then the long long dry spell happened
- 03:25 PlumeriaKnight: Yeah I skipped Tower at least, I figured I wanted to check for Tower key first.
- 03:26 PlumeriaKnight: And since Feymarch still had Dark Elf, I could do the objective at the same time.
- 03:27 PlumeriaKnight: I think these flags are better than the original proposed flags.
- 03:27 antidale: I did tower pre-feymarch, hoping to have enough to take dark elf, alas, Rosa was just a little shy at the end with her arty arrow and the d.breath got her. at least it got me back in feymarch for the warriors chest post sylph
- 03:29 antidale: there's a element to flying by the seat of your pants that was available in the other ones that I don't think is really captured here, but that'd be hard to do anyway. It will likely have a much wider seed-to-seed path to victory, though

- 03:30 PlumeriaKnight: Right after I bought my Arty Arrows I got forge so I never really gave them a second thought.
- 03:31 antidale: I was shy on cash for the goon spear that I saw, which was also sad
- 03:31 antidale: but I was never going back to shop for it
- 03:31 PlumeriaKnight: I saw Defense and bought it, then saw my cash drop hard. I also committed to the stardust rod in Kaipo after seeing Rydia in the bed. Tellah put it to good use.
- 03:33 PlumeriaKnight: I'm still not a fan of KTrap, especially with darkness hunts, but I think this flagset at least makes it less punishing since you probably still want other key items.
- 03:34 antidale: I went back for the stardust with palom on board, and also bought the defense sword but really shouldn't have with the limited amount of places magma could be when I bought it
- 03:36 PlumeriaKnight: I kind of flubbed my menuing a lot, so I was able to appreciate that the Assassin Dagger wasn't that bad on Kain early.
