- 12:12 Jimbo: right click on the timer and hover over racetime races
- 12:13 Jimbo: you can then select this room from there
- 12:13 Jimbo: it will prompt you to authorize livesplit to use your racetime account
- 12:13 Jimbo: your timer should then update to -15

- 12:14 Jimbo: alright so now whenever you stop the timer, your time will stop on racetime as well since they are linked
- 12:14 Jimbo: so you can't stop the timer, otherwise it will miss your racetime up
- 12:14 Jimbo: can't pause or anything
- 12:14 Tjongejonge_: and it will start counting down when we are all ready?

- 12:15 Jimbo: and your hotkey for starting/stopping the timer will also . done for you in here
- 12:15 Jimbo: i think the default key is numpad1
- 12:15 Jimbo: so don't hit that until you are finished
- 12:15 Jimbo: oh it will only work if the timer is in focus since global hotkeys are disabled by default
- 12:15 Tjongejonge_: so if i am in the raceroom and press numpad1, it will do the . done
- 12:15 Jimbo: correct
- 12:15 Jimbo: if livesplit is the window in focus
- 12:16 Tjongejonge_: learning so much right now :D
- 12:16 Jimbo: if you want, you can enabled global hotkeys in livesplit settings so whenever you hit numpad1, your timer will stop regardless of which window is in focus
- 12:16 Jimbo: but i don't really recommend that
- 12:16 Jimbo: in case of mistakes
