- 23:15 Malchior: Rather, it's one of the most common flagsets used in pickup races. So by practicing and playing in the rumble, one is preparing themselves to participate in more pickup races (at least once tournaments have concluded)

- 23:18 Mocco71: perma beams are rare in pickups tho. Only thing I could think of, and don't know if it would've been possible is HP even to -1. It's always nice finding a blue octo that goes down to a single blue candle flame
- 23:19 Malchior: Yeah, it's not possible. The lowest variance factor is +-2 and generally that can create some of the more worse enemies, because a +2 is of higher average to occur than a +4 if you set to +-4.

- 23:20 Malchior: Yes, I recall. Endy is quite haphazard in his routing, and very scatter brained. Once he builds randomizer into his muscle memory like he has for vanilla, he will be dangerous.

- 01:17 Mocco71: yes - i bought blue ring before going into 8. Hadn't seeen wizzies and had 255 rupees
- 01:17 Malchior: I took esentially every transport, including a 7th set of transport stairs to find that RR.
- 01:17 Malchior: Instead of buying BR, I got a bomb upgrade.
- 01:17 Malchior: And kept replenishing bombs to find the darknuts

- 01:17 Malchior: A BR might have helped me, I had 8 deaths.
- 01:17 Malchior: I took a costly death in on the darknut shutter room that led to tri in the bottom

- 01:20 Malchior: Needed 6 hearts to do it... it took a bit...jsut cleared the whole OW to make it happen
- 01:20 Mocco71: no worries. Knowing i got this close, makes me feel accomplished

- 01:20 Mocco71: yeah, I had 4 or 5 hearts when it went out. I took a take any heart instead of candle just to improve odds
