16:50 SpaceMiner: I ended getting first try BLJs in this race

16:51 SpaceMiner: And I get first try in most races, you get used to doing them eventually
16:51 SpaceMiner: Usually my runs die to Sky not BLJs
16:51 JamIsNotJelly: in my pb i got blj first try so that was pretty epic but now I cant do them anymore for some reason

16:54 SpaceMiner: my N64 controller is broken
16:54 SpaceMiner: so I am on EMU for awhile

16:54 SpaceMiner: Well I used to play this game on Wii U
16:54 SpaceMiner: so I used Wii U pro controller
16:54 SpaceMiner: which I turned into an XInput using some software
16:55 SpaceMiner: meaning it reads as an xbox controller

16:55 SpaceMiner: I use Gamecube controller too
16:55 SpaceMiner: I switch between the 2 idk which I prefer
16:56 SpaceMiner: I don't like emu that much tbh
16:56 JamIsNotJelly: how do you use a gamecube controller with emu
16:56 SpaceMiner: So you know how with Smash you need to buy an adapter
16:56 JamIsNotJelly: yeah
16:56 SpaceMiner: you can use that adapter on your PC
16:56 SpaceMiner: and use some drivers
16:56 SpaceMiner: Or use a 3rd party one with a PC mode
16:56 SpaceMiner: personally I use a 3rd party one

17:00 SpaceMiner: but Usamune makes your practice faster and more efficient

17:02 SpaceMiner: It lets you do that, let's you reset the level with the press of the L button and lets you make savestates in certain spots
17:02 SpaceMiner: so you can practice a particular section of a particular star
17:02 SpaceMiner: you are bad it
17:02 SpaceMiner: Let's say you wanna practice Owless

17:02 SpaceMiner: you know when you fall off
17:02 SpaceMiner: and you have to climb back up
17:03 JamIsNotJelly: yeah
17:03 SpaceMiner: you can just press D pad up
17:03 SpaceMiner: and then load a savestate of you already on the island
17:03 JamIsNotJelly: cool
17:03 SpaceMiner: That's way more efficient since you probably don't struggle with getting to the spot
