- 23:24 T.J Joll: It's a go as long as it doesn't track chests in dungeons you can do that manually if you want but auto tracking is all good now

- 23:25 Caladrius: But nice, then I can set up the auto tracking without fear

- 23:27 T.J Joll: Just at least for me I find it super easy to mistrack a key I mean you can always check the menu but with auto tracking it takes the risk out

- 23:28 Caladrius: Ah right, yea keysanity was a lot of bureaucracy in there to keep proper track
- 23:28 Caladrius: What does the ad keys mode entail?
- 23:29 Caladrius: Theres so many new mode names xD
- 23:29 T.J Joll: It's just All Dungeons keysanity so smalls and bigs are everywhere I'm sure it was the same as before even the aga 1 keys are all over the place
- 23:29 T.J Joll: There is FAD keys now that's the same but the CT keys are vanilla

- 23:30 T.J Joll: Oh yeah I think everytime there is an update there is a new mode lol
- 23:30 Caladrius: I once ran a tournament keysanity seed where aga 1 keys were bothin the upper part of GT
- 23:31 T.J Joll: Ughh that rough at least the sliver lining is you could finish GT then mirror and do aga 1 lol
- 23:31 Caladrius: Well that was just a regular keysanity so just went aga 2 -> ganon and called time :P
- 23:32 T.J Joll: Nice that's perfect
- 23:32 Caladrius: Feel like in keysanity the aga 1 chests are (or at least used to be) the forgotten chests
- 23:33 T.J Joll: Still are forsure alot of runners besides make the higher tiers can still forget them
- 23:33 Caladrius: Was thinking perhaps annoying to route in... but if you have the keys for it it's quite neat to combine with pyramid ledge / fairy if you have the mirror
- 23:34 T.J Joll: Yeah probably the best or If you at least find 1 go in and get them early if possible

- 23:34 T.J Joll: That dark maze is easy enough and it's quick to death warp out lots in there to kill ya
- 23:35 Caladrius: And how active is the community nowadays? It does feel less active than before to me... or it could be that it's just moved to more american times xD
- 23:37 T.J Joll: It's different than before from what I understand I think the ladder keeps it fairly active Dunka and Hurfy really did alot to make it Na and Eu friendly
- 23:38 Caladrius: Yea, I learned about ladder yesterday, have yet to check it out properly, did notice a nice spread in times, like every 6h a run or something
- 23:39 Caladrius: But I mean the regular discord seems more inclined to more american times, often when I see activity it's when I wake up and it happened at like 3-4 am :P
- 23:39 T.J Joll: Yeah it's actually a bit more often than that I think I get to hit a bunch of different times I work shift in NA and I get alot of runs in with the Eu players

- 23:40 T.J Joll: Yeah the main is definitely NA oriented don't often see alot of other runners in there
- 23:41 Caladrius: I also do recall a time when there were like 3 dailies on the speedgaming twitch a day, noticed that already went down to 1 a day at varying times :P
- 23:41 T.J Joll: Yeah when I started commentating it was 3 a day then ladder came along and changed it
- 23:42 T.J Joll: Now I think they do a rotation 2 pm Eastern then 9 pm then 11 pm all eastern
- 23:42 Caladrius: Yea that 2 pm eastern is perfect for me, that's 8 PM here
- 23:43 T.J Joll: Yeah that's definitely a sweet spot for you then
- 23:43 T.J Joll: That's usually when they do alot of fun modes too open flute and such
- 23:44 Caladrius: Yea I participated in an open flute seed last week I believe
- 23:45 Caladrius: Do like those dailies
- 23:45 Caladrius: Still got to get used to racetime as well for me, did they transition to here long ago?
- 23:46 T.J Joll: Yeah they are nice especially when you need a rando fix or it the corresponding ladder mode isn't for you it's a nice thing
- 23:47 T.J Joll: Probably about an year ago or so it was just before the league season 3 I think for retiming purposes it was better plus its alot of the programmers that run it so if it breaks they can fix it
- 23:48 T.J Joll: I think after a few ties in that season they wanted to retime easier lol
- 23:48 Caladrius: Yea it seems quite nice with the timer built in and everything
- 23:49 Caladrius: Damn, ties started happening that often?
- 23:49 Caladrius: Think I've seen like 1 tie? I beleive the rule for a tie back then was if they finished within 3 seconds of eachother or something like that
- 23:50 T.J Joll: Yeah I think they had 4 or 5 to retime that season I was on comms for 2 of them
- 23:50 Caladrius: dayum
- 23:51 T.J Joll: Yeah now its 2 seconds and they retime
- 23:52 T.J Joll: I think this season there was 1 that was an actual tie they had to re race
- 23:52 Caladrius: wow, damn
- 23:54 Caladrius: actually wasn't in the league discord either, just found it looking at the discord-servers channel in the main server xD
- 23:57 T.J Joll: LOL yeah it's a good place lots of fun too I have been really enjoying it
- 23:57 Caladrius: Still working on figuring out what has changed and where I can find the action :P
- 23:58 T.J Joll: Yeah well the league is wrapping up but the open league is into the finals and the invitational is into the semis lots of action there
- 23:59 Caladrius: oh nice, and all of that is organized in the leagues discord or does each tourney have their own?
- 00:00 T.J Joll: For those are all done in the league discord The league is Fearagents baby he got it started a few years ago
- 00:00 Caladrius: I think I either just missed it or just caught the start of it :P
- 00:01 T.J Joll: Most of the time between the main discord and the ZSR Discord the tourneys show up
- 00:01 T.J Joll: Yeah probably from what I understand would have timed out that way
- 00:03 T.J Joll: The mentor tournament should be coming up again soon it's a great one if your learning or relearning too
- 00:04 T.J Joll: I'm wondering what one will be starting when the league ends

- 00:04 Caladrius: Sounds like a nice tourney for derusting and learning the new tech
- 00:09 T.J Joll: You get a mentor to work with for 6 weeks they can be on voice chat and help all the way through
- 00:10 T.J Joll: After 6 weeks you go to playoffs on your own
- 00:10 T.J Joll: I had a blast doing it learned alot especially logic wise
- 00:11 Caladrius: Ah nice, sounds like a great way to learn the new logic and tech
- 00:12 T.J Joll: Yeah definitely I'm looking forward to it I get to mentor this time around hopefully can spread the love
- 00:12 Caladrius: Definitely feel like I should learn stuff like icebreaker sooner rather than later xD
- 00:12 T.J Joll: I was a really bad player before and with my mentors help I got all the way to the top bracket semis so i can say it works forsure
- 00:12 T.J Joll: Yeah icebreaker and DD are almost essential nowadays

- 00:13 Caladrius: Yea before I quit I tended to get scores around barely not making it to group stages in tourneys, so decently middle of the pack :P
