- 22:55 zenarcane: Because of the ice rod and the early bow and lamp, I went in and cleared pendant eastern, then did crystal pod

- 22:55 sk00pula: jumped out of eastern because all three items early. that's the issue there.

- 23:05 sk00pula: i guess it's just that i never touch those modes as i never found a minute to sit down and run them ever
- 23:05 zenarcane: Whatever works! Zen is taken everywhere usually, so I've gone by zenarcane since I can remember now
- 23:05 sk00pula: ran inverted on a daily, always wanted to, but that's the excuse i needed, i was like, oh, tr door optional.
- 23:06 zenarcane: I like the thrill of those two modes, big puzzle to solve most of the time - I think it really helps as well as they both can put you in really awkward situations
- 23:06 zenarcane: 3-5 heart blind or moth, low % kholdstare, forcing you to figure out how to get through them effectively
- 23:07 zenarcane: Crosskeys is taking notes effectively as well, mismarking something can easily cost you a race, so it forces you to make sure you accurately and quickly take notes
- 23:07 sk00pula: on my setup that's when i get button presses lagged into the nether and yeah
- 23:08 sk00pula: you have to be holding the button for the next frame for it to work
- 23:08 zenarcane: ahh, yikes, that's not good. Have to get yourself a beefier setup soon

- 23:12 zenarcane: I use s9x core on retroarch and it is fine - spinning disk or ssd?
- 23:14 sk00pula: ssd. not that it doesn't just run from ram anyway. idk. streamlabs also causes a resonating kind of choppiness if it has to hook the window after launch, meaning i have to start streamlabs last. though i don't think that has much to do with input since it's the same even if i run stuff in the right order.
- 23:15 sk00pula: could be the fact that it's 32bit because 64 doesn't work(though not just for me)

- 23:16 sk00pula: i'm stubborn. i have a 10 install on here, tried running all this on that, it chops bad consistently no matter what i do.

- 23:18 zenarcane: Odd one, I hate these kind of issues as it's so hard to pinpoint the cause
- 23:20 sk00pula: honestly my biggest problem for the longest time wasn't execution really, it was shedding 100% tendencies. doing small chains before big ones hoping for a payout. etc.
- 23:21 sk00pula: first time i wound up on restream i got tore up good. good for viewership, something for cooms to talk about, but it made me just, sit and rethink everything. Been like 60% on ladder ever since. So I guess it's time to look at something else now.
- 23:21 zenarcane: Yeah, I hear you on that - it's very rare that the little thing makes the difference, but when it does, it's huge
- 23:23 zenarcane: I noticed your improvement on the ladder for sure, you've been doing really well there. The biggest problem with the game is sometimes you can make all the 'right' decisions and still be wrong because rando does rando things
- 23:25 sk00pula: i appreciate it. i've had way too much time to play since i started due to things, that's gonna end soon, this thing will be the last big involvement for a while i'd say
