11:47 zenarcane: did spike and hera, but didn't go back for EP after getting the key cause of 9 items in TR

11:47 Maximum_Barnage: like don't get me wrong I think flip wins anyway; the beginning route was extremely linear in that we were in the same 5 dungeons in order
11:47 Maximum_Barnage: and after that sequence he was like 60s ahead of me
11:48 Maximum_Barnage: I watched it back and am like "yeah people are just really really good at this game in 2024"
11:49 zenarcane: And only getting better, up and comers everywhere which is amazing that we're still getting new blood that gets this good, this long into the rando

13:54 zenarcane: I was late to it as well, cause I'm like "shit, I'm bow/hook or boots go
13:54 zenarcane: I never took that connector so never would have found it
13:54 Maximum_Barnage: wow this one would be interesting to watch back. it sounds like we took completely different paths
13:54 zenarcane: I focused on entrances because I still had blind's hut and both fairies outstanding
13:55 zenarcane: so did mire area and mountain and neglected my connectors
13:55 zenarcane: I say neglect, I just never did TRW, spec rock or return cave
13:55 Maximum_Barnage: so my think was I got the mirror from EP and had a route where I wanted to take that connector from spec rock (which was at dark shopping mall) so that I could check that entrance and then take HC to Mire area

13:56 Maximum_Barnage: and just stumbled into the hookshot and then was in go
13:56 zenarcane: Makes sense, I took the smith through dp to take him back and then the connector up to floating island
13:56 zenarcane: then cycled through mountain to get to spiral cave
13:56 Maximum_Barnage: oh no lol I lost my smith in the stupidest way
13:56 Maximum_Barnage: games got jokes
13:57 Maximum_Barnage: so I stranded eastern area for a good while
