- 20:11 Maniacal: yeaaahhhh :( I thought that was kinda likely... I was really stressing about how much to play behind the mitts and how much to assume you skipped them and check things that were accessible without

- 20:12 Maniacal: oof... sorry to hear it :( I had a pretty good route on this aside from being a bit late to cane, but because I had mitts early that saved a lot, I imagine

- 20:13 creacy: I was going straight from dungeon to dungeon skipped lss
- 20:13 Maniacal: I 50/50'd EP and so I was trying to avoid going to PoD but also didn't want to do LSS and didn't want to go to DP when my access was mitts/flute/mirror, but then book showed up so I knew anyone would have DP access and that helped. Still did PoD before SP though so I mirrored and went back into EP for the heart piece, but dodged IP entirely and also mitts overworld stuff mostly, excepting DDM
- 20:14 creacy: many of stupid deaths today so i lost a couple of time my only hope was that you will miss the mitts :D
- 20:14 Maniacal: yeah that's reasonable, especially if you're feeling shaky with execution... skipping Hera there with TT/SW/PoD all doable after EDM is super reasonable

- 20:17 Maniacal: I'm not sure if you know... by the tree pull on statue on pyramid there's a bonk fairy in the left tree. Tier 1 pull was small decanters if you were looking for magic

- 20:18 Maniacal: yeah, don't mean to overstep/explain, but also it seemed like maybe you'd forgotten that one or weren't aware... that can be a really useful fairy on low loadouts :)

- 20:20 Maniacal: I routed Hera into spiral, which set me up to do DDM and TR medallion scout right away
- 20:21 Maniacal: and then it was go mode excepting cane with something like 7 hearts/green mail haha... weird seed in that sense
- 20:21 creacy: yes this is with mitts very nice...this hera "skip" for me was at this point reasonabledue to the dark world access at that time

- 20:22 Maniacal: oh yeah, Hera skip there is very reasonable... kinda like TT yesterday leaving with hook... I played very thorough overall and there happened to be things tucked away in awful spots in both seeds
- 20:24 creacy: thats correct but at the end there were not so much checks without the mitts so at the end it was ok and after swamp it was the spot with the most checks
- 20:24 Maniacal: in this one, flute/mitts/hammer/mirror made it so that prioritizing crystal dungeons made sense and didn't lose much time, so I skipped some overworld stuff after TT/PoD, but it wasn't too bad to get back to if I had to
- 20:26 creacy: yeah i guess at the end it was a good seed without heart :D
- 20:28 Maniacal: it's wasn't awful, but with so few required items after dark world access, those are always a bit scary to race :)
- 20:28 Maniacal: but ggs again, gl in the rest of the group matches -- I think there's going to be lots of good games in our group :)

- 20:30 Maniacal: I haven't ever raced Trystanien, but their ladder data suggest that you/Captain/Trystanien all should be pretty competitive. You definitely can make it out

- 20:30 Maniacal: I think I was the top seed in our group and am a bit favored, but casual boots is scary and anyone can win -- everyone's so good!
