- 05:17 tam: pretty sure i was in "go mode" at around 1:10 but it was so bad
- 05:17 malmo: I found desert big key somewhere I had no business lookinig while in go mode
- 05:18 malmo: same tam I dove TR after trinexx because I was facing down the prospect of a 10+ potion finish. Found flippers in chomps
- 05:18 tam: i left ice immediately and then realised a few seconds later i should have looked there for basically anything
- 05:18 tam: cane, flips, pearl, ether all were missing
- 05:18 tam: i cant think of a 7 person no logic race that i've been a part of

- 05:21 malmo: I hated everything else
- 05:21 FoxLisk: i didnt have any rods until like 2 hours
- 05:21 malmo: I had done all crystals except swamp mire and turtle rock
- 05:21 malmo: and they were all awful to get into
- 05:21 FoxLisk: yeah i did swamp and mire before touching tr or ice
- 05:21 FoxLisk: they were awful it's true
- 05:22 thisisnotyoho: i got cane at 1:20 and was in the comfiest ice rod to go mode
- 05:22 FoxLisk: but "i can do a crystal dungeon" won out over "ice palace is easy to check" for me

- 05:22 tam: when i went to ice i only had caneless TR, a bunch of bad OW checks, and some single checks in dungeons i think
- 05:22 malmo: also I wanted the bomb upgrade. I had mitts. It was right there

- 05:23 MrByer: I had two opportunities to go to ice, but the first time I had no fire, and the second time I had smith

- 05:24 tam: i forgot where fire rod was but i think i had it pretty early

- 05:26 tam: i have experienced that, i imagine it sets your quadrant to be "correct" when you fall
- 05:27 FoxLisk: it has to scroll the camera to put you back at the entrance to the room
- 05:27 malmo: game is not broken enough
- 05:27 FoxLisk: i guess something in there unfucks your quadrant
- 05:27 MrByer: It probably resets your spawn quadrant
- 05:27 tam: i ended up doing the pod quadrant glitch to go to laser bridge because i screwed up the bunny conveyor
- 05:27 tam: i was too poor for a blue potion
- 05:28 FoxLisk: it sounds like you played an entirely different seed from me rofl
- 05:29 tam: in my seed i was racing against myself
- 05:29 tam: to stop being stupid
- 05:29 FoxLisk: me too and i lost very very badly
- 05:32 tam: i realised in this seed you can stuck push from the swamp switch to the map chest though which i wil use in the future
- 05:32 tam: should save needing a key
- 05:34 FoxLisk: yeah that's so much work though
- 05:34 FoxLisk: just bring a key 4Head
- 05:35 tam: i used my key and then i was confused so i save and quit because i didnt know what to do
