- 02:21 MisterAngryPants: Gambled hard on somaria not being on DDM.
- 02:22 Orange: In my case I went up there chasing hookshot and mitts after Swamp and IP ended up not being the answer.
- 02:22 MisterAngryPants: Yeah finding HS in the back of TT I felt was good. I also had some seed bleed and was thinking I needed to beat TR.
- 02:23 MisterAngryPants: So I was thinking I needed 3 to go. until I found the IR.
- 02:23 Orange: That hookshot would have been a huge problem if either of us found mitts before hookshot.

- 02:25 MisterAngryPants: Since I had mirror I did Hype to VOO, I got mitts then went and did Mire area and beat desert. Didn't want to go into IP with out HS and somaria so I did TT.
- 02:26 Orange: After I got the glove off Helma I rushed DP, then decided to do the traditional dark world loop so since I didn't have the mitts yet, it made sense for me to dive back of TT looking for that. When I pulled HS, I bailed from the dungeon to commit to a Swamp clear.
- 02:26 MisterAngryPants: I think if I'd realized at that point I was somaria from go I'd have maybe done the mountain.
- 02:27 MisterAngryPants: I actually rushed EP right out of Sanc. Did the kak delay until after south shore. When I saw flute in Kak i wasn't too happy. LUL

- 02:28 MisterAngryPants: When I play someone who's execution is so much better I intentionally don't route optimally.
- 02:28 Orange: I rushed EP too but I hadn't done my map check yet so I had to leave sanc first to make sure EP was a crystal
- 02:29 MisterAngryPants: That's another thing, I usually don't bother with map checks for a while. I think I did my first around 35 minutes today.
- 02:29 Orange: I wasn't going to make that play if EP was a pendant which was why that map check was important
- 02:30 MisterAngryPants: Exactly, I was kinda hoping it was a pendant. Because if I got something useful but doesn't open a lot of checks, that's the advantage I need against someone as good as you.
- 02:31 Orange: Yeah, I would have probably gotten destroyed if something was in there because I'm the kind of person who will kill Aga before touching a pendant EP
- 02:32 MisterAngryPants: But I didn't feel bad about the game. I had a couple of mental errors, but no big execution snafus.
- 02:33 Orange: The early game made sure to take unintentional deaths off the table
- 02:34 MisterAngryPants: I'll probably give your run a watch and wonder what might have been if I had gone to mountain right after swamp and IP. It wouldn't have saved me too much time, but would have saved a skull woods, and north DW to zora.

- 02:35 Orange: So for context, I skipped the following: TT after Attic (I noped out on HS), Smith Chain, LSS, Pyramid Fairy, Catfish, North Dark World, all of Skull Woods.

- 02:37 Orange: I did take the caneless IP and screw up the bomb jump going from freezor room to Iced T so those are both time penalties really.
- 02:37 MisterAngryPants: Since I walked right up into VOO with Mitts and I had flute and mirror I just did it.

- 02:38 Orange: Whereas in my case I didn't have the mitts yet and I fluted to Kak and took the portal

As for Pyramid fairy, I figured it was early, already did aga, why not. It could have been another way to pop a good item. And LSS I did it because I was still thinking I needed fire rod and IR>
