- 23:51 pool_float_g: I just started my delay, was wrapping some other things up and giving my audio one last test. Had to rewire it all to get rid of a delay just big enough to mess me up

- 23:53 McMonkey: if so, I might pick your brain later as I have the same issue. I just use the direct audio output from my monitor speaker for now
- 23:53 pool_float_g: It started when I got the Elgato, but I was able to temp fix it by using the speakers built in to my monitor
- 23:53 McMonkey: haha, great minds
- 23:53 McMonkey: it's a common issue with the Elgato, from what I've seen
- 23:53 pool_float_g: I just added an HDMI audio extractor in-line, and can use headphones or speakers now without the delay
- 23:54 McMonkey: nice
- 23:54 pool_float_g: I could have kept it the other way and been fine, but I also wanted to be able to use these fancy new headphones with my PC games when streaming, and so I had to get creative
- 23:55 McMonkey: yeah, the other option I've seen that I've been meaning to try is to use the elgato software (which doesn't seem to have the delay) and do a window capture in OBS for it
- 23:56 McMonkey: I don't love that solution because then I'm back to using desktop audio capture instead of separate elgato audio
- 23:56 pool_float_g: Hmm, that could work also. Before I went to HDMI, I was doing something similar with the GV-USB2

- 02:38 McMonkey: but cleared everything except PoD harmless hellway before GT

- 02:38 pool_float_g: Same for me, well 1 pod small was because I used one in the back, never expect it to be vanilla
