- 01:45 Soyhr: I have been fighting my own aches and pains, but luckily hasn't been to bad. Mostly self inflicted with the snow and such around lately

- 01:47 GFE: i love some snow here, but only get like a 3-12 inches total in a full winter, nothing like where you likely are

- 01:49 GFE: well, in rural tennessee, 2+ inches shuts down the world and sends people scouring walmart for milk, eggs, and TP

- 01:50 Soyhr: I also did not know rural TN. there are a lot of people from TN
- 01:52 GFE: born, raised, and returned to rural TN. All the hills and backroads are mainly what shuts things down though, which is nice for a school teacher wanting to use up snow days that I don't get back and don't get paid for if they're not used

- 01:54 GFE: there are 11 "extra" days built into the year for snow/weather
- 01:54 GFE: which is really annoying when we don't use them all, because then i'm effectively working for free the unused days

- 01:56 GFE: This is my 15th year
- 01:57 Soyhr: have the students gotten worse or about the same?
- 01:58 GFE: it varies year to year obviously, but worse is the general rule of thumb mostly due to parents not realizing that they are ultimately responsible for helping out and ensuring their child's education (I teach 1st graders)
