- 18:51 BajaBlood: it was the first rando I picked up some years ago, maybe like 2017/2018, played a lot but didn't race. got into some other randos more seriously and recently started racing this one
- 18:51 BajaBlood: the metroid prime randos are my main wheelhouse
- 18:52 BajaBlood: but yeah been doing the mentor tourney that's been happening the last few weeks and doing decently in it
- 18:52 Kalvin919: ah i see. I just came off of a three month break. I have no expectations so we will see how it goes. however if u beat me and i havent hit go mode i might be a little upsetty. lol

- 18:54 BajaBlood: I actually think my execution is favored against most folks in mentor tourney except Bydey, obviously, but now here it's gonna be the other way round

- 18:56 Kalvin919: i will say that i have done 2 opens since i came back from break. i have posted respectible times but i think some of the lower to mid tier players have gotten a lot better in a short amount of time for sure

- 18:57 BajaBlood: skill levels are rising across the board
- 18:57 BajaBlood: fun to watch, a lot harder to get into and get competitive quickly unless you're able to learn quick and practice a bunch
