19:00 Iceman_F1: I need to dip dungeons more instead of mapping the overworld. Could have had that lamp, cane and flippers MUCH earlier lol

19:01 MalXantholos: startet to figure out a lamp had to be there because of that hookshot
19:01 MalXantholos: didnt want to go there before without neither fire source or big key
19:01 Iceman_F1: Same lol. Eventually was forced there with everything but cane. Found it and was like "Please game, don't make me do this dark room..." then boom, lamp lol

19:02 MalXantholos: i went to POD with 3 small keys and did the whole front and back except vanilla big key chest
19:03 Iceman_F1: I kind of put off certain dungeons if I'm not very well equipped. Worked out in this case as I could single dip it, and it was locking good items, but it also meant I did useless stuff like full climb GT
19:03 MalXantholos: i got my pearl at 1:08:16 xD
19:03 MalXantholos: and i had that stupid misstrack, my go mode was desert big key, which was in GT right side
19:04 MalXantholos: but i thought i needed IP instead of mire
19:04 Iceman_F1: I WAS feeling good with my early POD play. My route had me have bow/hammer/2 POD smalls by the time I found POD the first time. Went shooter room, bow side, hammer down to do back 3 (rupee/turtle chest) then came back forward for the big key chest and drop down. So had pearl SUPER early and was feeling pretty good. Then things dried up lol

19:05 Iceman_F1: My go mode was Ice rod. Thankfully after full clearing swamp for the TR big my next play was TR anyway so it wasn't long...but I just got side tracked doing overworld stuff instead of dungeons.

19:06 MalXantholos: also that swamp big key was a troll, right behind SP entrance on catfish
19:06 Iceman_F1: Yeah. Those items early on meant you could get the ice rod and other stuff earlier than I did which let you find the good items faster. Oh well, I'm happy I kept it as close as I did and had under 2h 30m which is a good time for me!
