- 04:02 Spleebie: my go mode was fire rod, Chex's was uncle sword
- 04:03 Steg: Mine was uncle sword too. I got fire rod pretty early. Lack of thinking to check uncle led me to fail miserably in Eastern and check a lot of dak world.
- 04:04 Steg: Guess I'll keep that as a note to self: uncle first in mystery, always.
- 04:04 Spleebie: after I did DM I went to DW EDM and then to catfish on my way to check the goal, then I just focused on the lw sphere 1 locations after that

- 04:05 Steg: I did the sphere one light world stuff, got fire rod, checked the sign at pyramid and hunted for sword for 30 minutes after that.
- 04:07 Spleebie: I usually try to put off the castle & south shore until after finding the mirror in owg, so that cost me some time I guess
- 04:09 Steg: Yeah, that was my thought process, and also castle had buffed enemies I knew I'd have a hard time dealing with. Didn't even consider the possibility of uncle assured until I finally decided to head there.
- 04:10 Steg: As in, as I was running over I thought of it.

- 04:11 Spleebie: yeah I didn't realize it might be uncle assured until after I got it
- 04:11 Steg: Eastern with no sword was really terrible. I somehow managed to scrape by with the key in the dark, carefully took out the enemies in the second last room, then got murdered by the swarm before the boss.
- 04:12 Spleebie: btw stego, it looks like when you're typing it's triggering hotkeys in snes9x, you should go through each page in the hotkey settings and disable them so you don't trigger something bad

- 04:15 Spleebie: mostly it's not an issue but I think one of them is a background layer or something that'll break the display
