- 04:40 PapaSchmo: Yeah I just ended up doing suitless LN. I was going to finish the seed but I just died at MB trying to do a Crystal Flash. I have to remember it's different in rando :)

- 04:41 PapaSchmo: Yeah it definitely tested my very basic alttp game :)
- 04:41 LesleyPro_04: I died a total of six times: twice to Blind, once to Mothula and to Vitreous as a result of an eaten input.
- 04:41 PapaSchmo: I didn't have a sword until I had like 4 crystals or whatever already :)
- 04:42 PapaSchmo: Ah dang
- 04:42 LesleyPro_04: The first sword I had was at the end of gross logic chain that saw me get a shovel out of Swamp, leading to Powder, leading to the Sword on the Magic Bat

- 04:43 LesleyPro_04: And on a seed where two swords were needed to get Mitts off Ether Tablet that just felt a bit smelly

- 04:44 LesleyPro_04: Only thing that stopped this from being worse was opting for Lower Norfair first: the Bow was the Imprisoned item and that was go mode for me

- 04:44 PapaSchmo: Gotcha. I didn't do any maridia checks at all lol. I just passed it, went to Kraid, then did UN and by the time I was done I had a bunch of tanks so I just said I'm going to LN. Which got me bow so I felt good about it, but it was ultimately my alttp play that needed to be better/faster.

- 04:46 LesleyPro_04: So what helped me with my LTTP play was learning the NMG speedrun. It certainly helped with my play in both Z3R and SMZ3

- 04:46 LesleyPro_04: Still, despite learning that run I still struggle with Lanmolas using the Bow
- 04:46 PapaSchmo: I'll probably do an NMG at some point. I just have so many SM goals :)
- 04:47 PapaSchmo: I had to bounce out of turtle rock boss because I only had master sword and no half magic. so I had to go get some potions.
- 04:49 LesleyPro_04: I would have had to do that but I use Hammer if I don't have Tempered Sword. Requires more menuing, but it's effective at doing the job.
- 04:49 LesleyPro_04: It's also the Low% strat for the fight

- 04:51 LesleyPro_04: Quickswap, when turned on, gets used with L and R to switch items on the fly
