- 03:12 Pikapals: yeah, 3 bomb bags on crenel before being able to get a sword

- 03:13 mashy: i ended up going up to cloud tops super early which got me ocarina
- 03:13 Pikapals: at least it was nice being able to get my first sword right when I needed it in deepwood
- 03:13 Pikapals: yeah, I was going to go up to cloud tops early, but then I got my 3rd sword in the last check before I was gonna head up there

- 03:14 mashy: i ended up finding my red sword in deepwood
- 03:14 Pikapals: I ended up getting the gust jar almost immediately, so I went to deepwood pretty much right after getting bombs
- 03:14 mashy: for a while i was scard i was gonna have another light arrow seed
- 03:15 Pikapals: I was starting to expect it, though at least it wouldn't have been required light arrows for vanilla cof access like my last one
- 03:15 mashy: i skipped town minish for a while so i ended up dipping deepwood to find i couldn't do anything only to go straight back after gust jar
- 03:16 mashy: i think my biggest play was bailing fortress after doing the front and checking carlov medal right away
- 03:17 Pikapals: probably, I ended up bailing from wind ruins after getting the lamp, since that gave me droplets full clear and logical veil falls access
- 03:17 Pikapals: so then when I had to go back I just cleared the whole thing
- 03:17 mashy: that was probably the big difference maker
- 03:18 mashy: also i went straight to graveyard after i got boots in cof which put me into go mode
- 03:18 Pikapals: probably, though almost last locationing crypt also didn't help
- 03:18 mashy: i've noticed that graveyard almost always has something so i rush it anytime i can
- 03:19 Pikapals: that idea sure failed me hard last round
- 03:19 mashy: not going graveyard might've cost me my first race so i wasn't gonna let that happen again
- 03:19 Pikapals: and I mostly didn't want to leave behind lower veil falls and some other quick checks
- 03:20 Pikapals: yeah, doing graveyard might have cost me my first race
- 03:20 Pikapals: game just likes making me wrong I think
- 03:21 mashy: i feel like more often than not the game makes you make bad decisions
- 03:21 mashy: and the goal is to try and limit them
- 03:22 mashy: i almost wasted 5 mins doing vanilla cof with light arrows thinking lantern was gonna be on a check i skipped, but i ultimately bailed
- 03:23 Pikapals: I was glad bombs showed up to talk me out of vanilla cof with gust jar
- 03:24 mashy: i also skipped lower crenal right after getting bomb bag
- 03:25 mashy: i ended up going back there but i did minish loop first
- 03:26 Pikapals: I just wanted to get all the items I was right next to, though I wasn't upset with getting 2 more bomb bags out of it
- 03:26 mashy: i laughed with all the bomb bags
- 03:26 Pikapals: yeah, I was just disappointed the final bomb bag ran away from crenel
- 03:27 mashy: same
- 03:27 Pikapals: they were all one happy family, trapped in blocked off caves
