- 20:15 malmo: that said I am a strong proponent of just doing TR in an ice rod hunt

- 20:15 malmo: I'd even do it before full clearing swamp

- 20:15 DrunkFutureSelf: oh, I was going there next...just got fire rod
- 20:15 mm2nescartridge: the only stuff i had left was gp, 1 item lss, and back of TT
- 20:15 DrunkFutureSelf: got fire rod, full cleared mire, swamp and PoD
- 20:16 mm2nescartridge: but i guess in hmg going back to TR after an ice rod hunt is way better so i think i need to reevaluate
- 20:18 malmo: the cost of double dipping TR is slim compared to most anything else
- 20:18 malmo: including full clearing other crystals
- 20:18 DrunkFutureSelf: I've noticed a lot of things being fire locked in TR...may be confirmation bias
- 20:19 DrunkFutureSelf: so it almost seems that once you get somaria and fire rod, just rush TR

- 20:20 mm2nescartridge: how do yall deal with tr? if you're mirror wrapping, kinda seems like it's either orphan big chest/mimic cave or mirror wrap again for trinexx

- 20:21 DrunkFutureSelf: I spin into big chest/mimic then walk to big chest and grab chain chomps. I really only go into laser bridge when I'm going to kill trinex
- 20:21 malmo: I'm not a fan of orphaning catfish that way
- 20:22 DrunkFutureSelf: I had multiple dips into TR that's why I was super excited to go back once I found firerod
- 20:27 Joshua: i faded catfish, pyramid, purple chest, spike cave, mimic cave, hobo. i sorta was just praying HashIceRod was in TR. mirrored out at crystal roller and mirrorless wrapped to the back with the big key and IR
- 20:29 Joshua: not sure what the odds are of having a small key on laser bridge but i didn't wanna mirror and orphan both big and crystaroller
