Emulation Rules

Recommended emulators are Bizhawk with the mGBA core, as well as mGBA on its own. BIOS is not required for randomizer racing.

Emulator functions such as frame counter or input display are allowed at your discretion.

Emulator functions such as frame advance, savestates, and fast forward / rewind are banned.

General Rules

Time starts upon hitting OK or Start on Name Entry. Time ends when picking up the orb after killing phase 2 of the Dracula Wraith (good ending).

Whip launching is allowed, so long as it does not put Juste out of bounds (OOB). Exploiting coyote frames to reach the Entrance warp room without flight is also allowed. All other major glitches are banned - see this document for further CVR community rules.
