Category rules

Timing rules are the same as regular OoT - begin with the A press to select "Yes" on file select, end on first frame of final blow to Ganon.

All race entrants must stream during the race. Ensure you have a VOD recording as well in case you go offline.

VoDs must be available for a reasonable amount of time after any race participation in case of a proof call.

Standard ruleset applies to races by default.

Glitchless + Ground Jumps (GGJ) ruleset applies to races in the "GGJ ruleset" goal.

Dungeon Door Requirement ruleset, a ruleset between No IM/WW and Standard.

Random settings league may ONLY be used for valid league matches. Other races given this goal will not be recorded!

Usage of multiple accounts to race is not allowed without explicit permission by the Race Mods and will lead to a category ban of all related user accounts.

Races with a custom goal may use any ruleset, but if no ruleset is specified in either the goal or the race info, the Standard ruleset applies.

RandoBot

RandoBot can help you quickly generate a race seed for any OoTR race. Shortly after opening a race room, you'll see a message from our bot with instructions.

Use !seed to generate a seed, !spoilerseed to generate a seed with a spoiler log, and !presets to get the available preset names.

The seed will be posted in chat and added to the race info for everyone to see. RandoBot will only generate one seed per race.
