- 21:28 FurySK: in this case it was lord banana blocked at the PB spot near the desert iirc
- 21:28 FurySK: i found it and all dungeon items pretty much before 9

- 21:29 RandoRunner: i found wood sword and red ring fairly quick and ladder and book which helped
- 21:29 FurySK: mags at 10 was the big winner

- 21:29 FurySK: i took stairs and found the pig immediately
- 21:29 RandoRunner: i was looking at my map on the way to 9 and couldn't find where i marked it so i just went
- 21:29 FurySK: then walked around before up+a back to start
- 21:30 RandoRunner: i found zelda immediately but took awhile to find the pig
- 21:30 FurySK: the staircase patra guarded to the right at entrance took you to the west
- 21:30 FurySK: you go into the only room you have immediate access to and it has a stair
- 21:30 FurySK: that stair leads you to a roar
- 21:30 RandoRunner: that was fun, thanks for popping my cherry...lol
- 21:30 FurySK: i wrong ordered a bit but only died twice
- 21:31 FurySK: so i left some margin for error but not a ton
- 21:31 RandoRunner: i died 6 times
- 21:31 FurySK: yeah, from what i saw briefly at the end you've done enough offline practice or non-official practice races to come in with a decent enough chance to beat people in these
- 21:32 RandoRunner: yeah i have been grinding vanilla for quite some time
- 21:32 FurySK: yeah, that gets you a good bit of the way
- 21:32 RandoRunner: so combat, scrolling, and block clipping were skills i already had when i started rando
- 21:32 FurySK: just gotta know when to clear rooms and when to nope
- 21:32 RandoRunner: just i need to get better at routing things
- 21:32 FurySK: i hard noped that 3 early lol

- 21:33 FurySK: beamos patra rooms everywhere
- 21:33 RandoRunner: yeah that was ugly
- 21:33 FurySK: candle boosted for bow
- 21:33 RandoRunner: red ring was my first staircase item so that helped me alot of i would have probably died a ton
- 21:34 DannyPSpeed: i have to get better at not being a dumbass, and mismarking my map every time i play
